What were you doing before Symmetry and what was your approximate income?
I came from Ethiopia 10+ years ago to pursue my dream career as an engineer and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering and worked as a Geophysicist. After a few years in the industry I became tired of being asked to move around the country to complete projects. The last straw for me was the choice to move to another state or take a pay cut to keep working in the state that I settled in. I left the industry and entered the AT&T sales force so I could earn based on what value I brought to the marketplace. I quickly found out that without the right upward mobility you'll find yourself running that rat race every year to make what you did the year before. My income as a civil engineer was 100K and with AT&T was 27K.
