Other topics included coverage amounts with the different carriers for simplified issued policies, speaking to a client around the same age range as yourself as if you are telling yourself why the coverage and policy you as the agent selected is what is best for them based on your research, and stories of when a clients have pushed off some agents and the client either has passed or has had medical issue when they then followed back up again.

Agency Owner Corey Sizemore speaks with Matthew Metz about what he has learned about how sticking with activity week after week no matter what the wins looked like the week prior. Matt speaks about how he got a few wins September and then because of those wins would be a little harder to convince himself to keep going, which was a contributing factor to him not writing any apv in the month of October. When November came around he started to pick up his activity and carried that over into December where in the week from Christmas to New Years he had his best week by writing $20,000 in apv.

Agency Owner Rob Purlee and other top leaders answer questions including how to go back into the why when the client(s) say they want to think about it/sleep on it. This also brings up a situation of how a recent situation of a client passing away who told him they wanted to think about it and he just let it go instead of digging some more. He found out that client recently passed. The other topics included getting back on the horse after having a rough day, asking clients or warm market about people interested in possibly becoming agents, and addressing the “elephant in the room” when one of the spouses or couple does not seem to be participating in the appointment.
